The female Pied Flycatcher visited the nest box in the morning. It wouldn't be inspecting empty nest boxes if it already had a nest somewhere, so this individual may be searching for a place to nest.

The Great Tits, Blue Tits, and Coal Tits that have visited the nest box haven't done the same; they have found their way out on the first try. Even the Pied Flycatchers that have visited the box before haven't had this issue. Last week, a male Pied Flycatcher got stuck in the same way but eventually found its way out.
Sometimes people ask how intelligent birds are. Some birds, such as crows, ravens, and parrots, are quite intelligent, but these small birds are not. It shouldn't be difficult for them to find the opening in the nest box through which they entered just a moment ago, but apparently, their instincts tell them to "go towards the light," and that's all they know to do. Based on previous breeding seasons, I have formed the impression that tits are smarter than flycatchers, but it's just speculation.
To prevent a similar situation, a clear plastic plate has now been installed next to the camera on the roof, so the bird cannot access it. Hopefully, this will help them realize that they definitely can't exit through there, and the actual opening is right next to it.
